GT42-76's......
Still need n20 to spool em' but that just means you have big enough compressors.

A pair of 102mm's would do it!
You sure you don't want one of those epoxied compressors?

About the stock manifolds, could you install them upside down?? This would put each turbo at the front of the engine. Or maybe a set of shorty headers mounted upside down, this would keep the preturbo plumbing costs down and leave lots of room to double back the turbo exhaust out where the normal manifold exit is.

Just a thought.

Bugatti runs quad turbos, the new Veryron 16.4 runs quad turbos on its W16 engine that makes 1001 net hp@6000rpm and 923 lb/ft of torque from 2200-5500 rpm from 488 cubic inches. Its top speed is 253mph(governed where it gets 3mpg) and will reach 200 mph in 14 seconds.
It runs high 10's@140mph with a 0-60 of 2.9 and it weighs 4300 lbs.

Bugatti has had a few cars that have used quad turbos.

Here is teh Veyron 16.4 http://www.caranddriver.com/article....&page_number=1

I don't get it either, but I do know that the GT42 is not 42mm.

Also you can not compare the new GT compressors to the old T series units. The GT seires are quite different and a ton more efficient.

I've always wondered if buying some of summit's cheap *** shortys could work for a twin setup. The only thing I would worry about is sag, from the heat/weight of the turbos. Nothing a little extra bracing couldn't take care of.

See there you are, Those GT series turbos are awesome, actual new technoligy there. Not 1980's turbo tech that most of the manufactures are still riding on. That will give you some room to grow and blow some cool air along the way.

Call Jose at ForcedInductions. New Master Power units are cheap. They have a 70mm unit. I think twin GT42 (70 and 74mm) would be too much of a pain (and weight) to mount in any vehicle. Save those for single builds.

Oh and do yourself a favor now by refusing to use tubular headers or 304SS unless its 'weld-el' style and thick as hell.

There's a guy around here that has two GT42's mounted in an SN95 Mustang. That's one tight-*** engine compartment too. Oh yeah, he runs mid 8's and its streetable. Nobody seems to think its too much of a pain.
