I want to get a Magnacharger supercharger...will I get into any trouble if I don't get the intercooler? My trucks a 05 reg cab shortbox with a 5.3...I don't plan on pulling anything...so it's just for fun. Also I live in Canada so it doesn't get to hot here in the summer. Thanks.

 

how much boost do you wanna run?.....i'd say around 6-8 lbs....safe enough to get by with out inner cooled

 

get the intercooler..it will save you in the end....you will go 5-6lbs.then you will want more and wont be able to get it....

 

You'll want the intercooler. More hp and torque. More boost in the future. I was thrilled with the huge increase in power but now I want more.... a 6.0 or 402 will be next.... with the Radix of course. Don't cheat yourself to save a few $$$ now.

 

I agree; if you're going to do it, do it right and get the intercooler. You'll wish you had.
