hi guys looking for some help with my 03 Silverado SS AWD it is my DD has p1, core 2, dynatech headers, shift kit, 180 thermostat, 05 efan, so I have to get my p1 rebuilt and was thing of upgrading to a d1 in the process im also going to do some other upgrades in the process. An was wondering what u all think of the parts I have started to pick out and thinking of going with and what other parts are a must before I get it up and running again so going to do it in stages

Looks excellent to me! You will love the D1, should be a nice upgrade for you. Do you have ARP head studs or bolts?? I would look into those.

Honestly surprised you haven't pinned your crank already. I would defiantly do that.

I would check out the Mike Norris Catch can. Great units.

Thanks ak2007r6, hoping to start ordering parts in a week or so. Ill be looking at the ARP studs a friend just said that they would be a good idea the other day too. An ill check out that catch can to.

 

nice build... x2 on the d1 you will have almost twice the fun if you have the right pulley... what fuel system are you using like in injectors, fuel pump ect??

55lbs injectors and stock fuel pump I know I'm going to have to change it for the d1 but haven't done much research on it open to suggestions. What r people running with a d1?
