We were fortunate because we maxed out the throw on the tensioner near the end of the pull. The 1079 belt was just a bit too long, but didn't have the 1074 length on hand.

Interesting. I'm assuming you had belt slip at that point. Wonder what the peak HP could have been.

Don't forget about all us front inlet/front drive truck guys.
