Ok, here is the deal, I am getting an sts turbo and gauges for 6000 (That includes install) I have 2K left over. My truck is a 99 chevy silverado 5.3 4x4 LT. Engine, tranny and rear is stock. Except for NGK plugs and some wires. What else should i do with the 2000 i have, Maybe e-fans, tranny shift kit. Please help. Thanks

 

Built tranny or 4l80e, injectors, fuel pump,intercooler, alcy injection kit.

I agree about the trans, that is the weakest link in your drivetrain. 4L80E is your best bet IMO.

Damn David, If you can get all that for 2K, I'll make a special trip up there this weekend and we'll go shopping!
If you can cancel the deal for 6K for the turbo and install, do it. There is a guy on here selling an STS with upgraded turbo, he may even include the intercooler, for 3K. You can do the install yourself. Youve now got 5K. Now see above post and maybe even get an eaton and gears!!

As far as your extra $2k, I would do a stall, valve springs, fuel upgrades, and maybe the 67 instead of the 60-1.
