So, its still months away, but who plans on taking their trucks out for the TX2K event in March? That is the whole reason I've been getting my parts ordered, in hopes of having the truck mechanically on point so I can go play. Got a few friends going, hope to see some strong trucks show up!

 

I'd love to go. Heard a lot of good stories. Just worried if it would be a little too rough for me and the old lady. I've calmed down in my old years

It's actually not to bad if u post up at the hotel, the night meet was a little over the top but to me it was way too much hassle for nothing IMO.

Is it worth going for the events during the day?

 

no not really unless you have a trailer queen. Just wait for the night gather up. The supra nationals have gotten worse each year after 09,especially this year it was just bad..i guess it was too advertised, i remember having a blast in 06-09, now its just a bunch of kiddos going to take pictures and say they hang out with the big boys..the runs were done on 8 now its almost entirely on i-10 which is notorious for having the most police in the houston area.. besides the big dogs still run on beltway 8

 

I had a blast last year and will be there for TX2k14. Sporting boost this time around lol
