Showfest sucks now. Nothing but a bunch of thugs taking advantage of minimum police force and tearing up other people's vehicles, as well as robbing, murdering, etc. If any of you guys go, don't come back to this thread and say we didn't warn you when your truck gets jacked up by 20 thugs and a bunch of beer bottles. Also, don't carry your girlfriend unless you want to spend the entire night fighting to defend your ego. When these guys all get together, they only know one thing and that is to start ****.

Not worth the money, the trip, or the hassle. Just buy the dvd, because it convieniently leaves out all of the bullshit. Tons of guys we talked to last year said they would never come back to this **** town. i have to agree. I only go there every once in a while to go to the track.

i went last year to showfest and it was nuts. i mean we witnessed a shooting about 20 yards away from where we were standing that saturday night on the strip. and some idiot crashed into my buddies door of his truck. i might go saturday during the day but do not recomend anyone to attend in the evenings.

 

during the day might not be as bad. i just don't want anything to do with the event. not after my first time.

 

As a moderator of this fine site, I will refrain from speaking my true mind about this event. I'm going to sit this year out and try to pick on some ricers from out of town that are staying in Indianola or Cleveland.
