Silverado SS is gone!!!
Well, went down to the dealer on Thursday and picked the new truck up on Friday. 
It's a '07 GMC 2500HD RCLB 4WD. The thing is a freakin beast(looks and power).
The computer really needs to be tweaked on this thing. Under 4000rpm it is kinda doggy but, after that it's like a shot of nitrous hit.
Then again around 5000rpm it feels like it picks up again. I haven't scanned anything yet so I don't know if it's the VVT changing the cam position or just some sorta timing limits in the computer. Because of the computer limits it might not run as quick as the SS stock but, the top end pull seems harder than the SS for sure. Track day next week so I'll get some numbers on it.
The 6spd auto is not too bad. It doesn't hunt for gears and is really smooth. It could downshift a little sooner at part throttle but, that is probably easy to change in the computer.
I'll have some more pictures in a day or two but, here is a pic to give you an idea.

Oh yeah, gas pumps only go up to $75 and then shut off......damn 34 gallon tank. 
Yeah Andrew it's nice and feels pretty quick once it gets moving. It has the 6L90E also, supposed to be a bit stronger than the 6L80E, let's hope so.

Damn Toyota comment, I knew it was coming just thought it would be from Bryan. So far getting same mileage as the SS was getting in it's last days.....14mpg. Gonna leave it stock for now.
