As I recall the problem with the switch is that its on (or above) the brake fluid res so when it goes, it goes WOOOOOSH!.

That problem is why we traded the wife's exploder for an avalanche. We watched a vid of the same year and model catch fire, explode and burn to the ground in the middle of the night on a local car lot... Engine wasn't even running, no key... Traded it in the next morning lol.
