Was hoping the Blackhawks would push the series farther. Oh well....It gets the finals started sooner! Looking forward to game 1 on Saturday in Detoit!

He left the Penguins for less money because he thought he would have a better chance to win a cup in Detoit. We will see about that!

I am saying Pens in 6. Here is why I think this (aside from being biased lol)
Datsyuk hasn't played in about 10 days come Saturday and Lidstrom hasn't played in a week, both of which I am sure will still be favoring their injuries. I think the Hawks did a # on them, even guys like Hossa who seemed to be favoring an injury yesterday.
I think the back to back games Saturday and Sunday will not work in Detroits favor... so I am saying they split in Detroit for the first 2. I think they will also split in Pittsburgh though, then the Pens will win out in Detroit and win the Cup on home ice.
Also imo, no team wants to win the Cup more than the team that lost in the finals the year before. I think the Pens will elevate their game like never before, because lets face it... NOBODY in that locker room wants to do this again

w/o holding this in their hands

Anyways.... GO PENS!!!!!!!!!

I don't know why you say you are biased?

Tough loss... but as I suspected Detroit takes game 1. Watch for the Pens to bounce back tomorrow night.

I think its about time to ditch Boucher as the 7th Dmen and bring Dupuis or Sykora back... we need speed

Not likely.

Not all D's fans are jerks. I told Beasty it was B.S. he had to deal w/ last yr. in Detroit. I would treat him w/ respect, as I would think he would do the same. But then again, I was brought up that way, Respect Others.

Nope. Beasty, I never noticed your bias.

& a prayer. I might give you 2 grief, but if it's Hockey, I'll pick the Wings again & again. Football, Steelers have been & still are my fav. I quietly hope the Lions will change there ways, but...they haven't thus far.

Nah, no prayers... we just need some bounces to go our way. I think the Pens have outplayed and out chanced the Wings thus far, the biggest thing has been goal tending. Fleury has been playing like dirt lately and Osgood has been playing awesome. You can't expect to win when you hit 3 posts and your goalie kicks the puck in his own net twice
We shall see what the future has in store, there is still hope for us Penguin fans with them on home ice tonight and getting our matchups

LETS GO PENS!!!

Outplayed? I saw some of Game 1, so that was too long ago. Game 2, I fell asleep. Game 3 for 1 1/2 periods it was good from both sides. Lot of shots at both opposing goals. Then nothing happened from either side. The last 5 min, it was good from both sides.
Rats! Home ice. I hoped Wings, but thought Pens would be fired up coming home. Hopefully we can get more going in Game 4.
