Default Island Dragway, New Jersey

Planning on going Sunday, April 6th for a little test and tune. Anybody else? I haven't been to the track in 2 years since I got buzy and became a daddy so I'm real excited to see what the truck can do since installing the LT's, efans, Volant, and switching from 33's to 31's. As of now the weather's supposed to be in the 50's and sunny, with rain Saturday. Track will be green, but I'm not fast enough to be worried lol.

Last time out I ran 15.6@89.5 mph with the same cam and bolt ons, but on 33's with shortie headers and the factory clutch fan. Any guesses as to what she'll run now?

You know I want to go, but you also know my situation. Maybe a little later in the season.

There are a few guys from SilveradoSS.com that are planning on going Sunday. I am still debating on going or not just to watch. My truck will not be ready for at least 2 months.

Id say youll definitely be in the 14s. Those 20s wont help though, you have a set of aluminum stockers to atleast run to get the weight down some?

Yessir, I'm gonna be runnin my winter setup, which is the factory 16's with Toyo Open Country AT's, 275/70-16. Not great for traction, but it's what I have to work with. One of the reasons that I'm going this early in the season is to run it before I swap the 20's back on.

I would think that I should be in the 14's, but I'm not getting my hopes up. My truck always seems to be a few tenths slower than similar trucks with similar mods.

BTW, does anybody have any recommendations as to what PSI I should set my tires at, or will it make a difference with my mild set up?

You should go Krambo...I'll keep my eyes open for some Silvy SS's. You can't miss me, I'm the tattooed bald guy with the really slow black rcsb lol.
