3.73's should do ok but if you want the fastest you can get then you want the highest gears you can stand like 4.11 ,4.56, 5.10 ect. I tow with my truck so it should have 4.11's anyways.

 

#'s are in.
05 5.3 l with 3.42 gears. Cam was picked to use headers with but there is still stock manifolds on there.
Pulls are in 2nd gear. I did attempt a 3rd gear pull but it hit the speed limiter at 120mph early and didn't want to blow off the stock tires.Truck was pulling 20hp/25tq more though.
