IMHO, you should pull your Whipple and other performance parts off your truck and trade it in as close to stock as you can make it. Then, start fresh.

I'll sell the efans, headlamps, grill, cd player
This is probably not going to happen. Most likely i'll keep my truck and put the 408 in that. Oh, I ordered the 408 today by the way. Probably gonna be at least 6 weeks, ET heads are on short supply.
I'm not even sure if tuning is available for 06 pcm's yet, or if the headers/exhaust will fit, or if there are fuel issues(returnless fuel lines?), and some other questions. I'm going to look at a silverado in the morning. we'll see.

Coolness. Congrats on your new 408!
Spoke to Don yesterday about tuning my '06. He said something about VIN#'s and waiting until January for custom tuning...either way I'm waiting for 1,000 miles before doing it so the timing should work out.
So, you're going to mount the Whipple on that 408? That'll be sick!

the 6.0L is still for sale. It will be a longblock with 65Kmiles. I would strongly suggest you go through it and make sure the pistons, rings, rods are all still good. I put the blower on the truck at about 15K miles. $1500 takes it. Prefer local sale, MA, NH, ME, CT etc.
