Default Fastest Silvy/ Sierra in NJ?

Post your times. I'm interested to see who the fastest fullsize 99+ GM truck is.

I've been a best to date of 12.16 @ 114 ( at Atco raceway)

Got me beat, 14.13 at Etown last Oct. As soon as the manifold gets swapped I will be off to Bryans to get tuned for the cam and manifold.

No times yet, but I can say pretty confidently I'll never be that quick.

What mods do you have to get you to low 12s?

Forged bottom end 6.0, procharger 13lbs of boost, 3 core intercooler, heads, cam, rmvb 700r4, sd tune( still the 4.8 program, though). I have zero weight reduction and about the same amount of traction ( even on slicks).

I will soon be installing; 60lb injectors, long tubes ( have stock manifolds now), caltracs, true trac, moser race axles, and line lock. Oh, and I may have to go ahead and finish tuning it for the 6.0.

My goal for this year is low 11's ( 11.20's would make me happy........for now) After that, I may consider some weight reduction and meth/ n20 to get her in the 10's somewhere ( as funds allow).

I run Hoosier 28X10.5X16's. They are a medium compound tread. It still spins it's *** off even with the slicks, but they are a major improvement over the Kuhmo everyday tires that I run on the street. I don't remember the exact 60', but I believe it was around a 1.85 ( the norm is usually around 1.95-2.20 area). I am sure the 60' and the tires breaking loose shifting to 2nd are killing the e.t. 114 mph should be in the 11's. I'm hoping the caltracs will get me into the 1.50-1.65 range.

I'll probably be going to Atco on march 23rd and or the 30th to do some testing. If anyone happens to make it out, look for the red sportside silvy with " Ziggy's Racing Automatics" on the back window ( and I'm usually the only silverado there with some rare exceptions).

I'm using MT 28x15x10.5 slicks. They hook great. I have no suspension mods and have made several 1.6x 60' times. You get your 60' times down and you can be well into the 11s.

Awesome times man!

What is your race weight?

4760lb............I don't go out of my way to take anything out b4 I race. My regular street cruising weight is exactly the same as my race weight.
