DOH! My dynatech's broke!

Nothing a wleder can't fix I guess, had them for about 2 and half years so far. #5.

And what it looks like without the weld....

Sounds like poo-poo. I had to drive to Baltimore yesterday (hour drive) and it was aweful. I drove through a stream Friday, as I do every morning and afternoon, i floored it through the stream this time and it sounded like a BB hit my hood and then the yucky sound of a broken header followed.
Quality sucks, but here ya go...

WOW, that really sucks. For as much as they cost, i would think that should never happen. I know its probaby a long shot, but maybe call Dynatech and see if they will warranty them? I hope that is not what i have to look forward to with mine.

You got to remember the headers were hot as hell and he hit them with COLD water and after many many times of this contraction and expansion cycle the tack weld finally gave up the ghost. I bet a pacesetter header wouldnt have lasted nearly as long.

Yeh, cody I figured the header didn't like that water splashing on it's 800* surface. LOL
