HP is nothing more the TQ x RPM. If you can keep the torque up in the upper RPM, you will have more HP.

might have hurt the motor. gonna be weeks before i get to dyno.

Damn, that news sux.. what a let down, haha. Esp. since my 1900 is in the mail and it's going on a STOCK LQ9. eeeeeeekkk

its not because of the blower. sounds like something in the valvetrain. my tune is not dialed in yet. i was putting around to make sure everything was good after i replaced the flexplate and had to merge.... it downshifted and somehow the y-pipe slid off the headers.... might have leaned out.

i am not running a maggie supplied tune....looks like it may be costing me some coin.

you will be just fine with the stock lq9 and the maggie tune. dont worry about it.
