Tundras put about 310-315 to the wheel. With 381 at the crank, that's about 18% drive train loss which is normal. With intake, exhaust, and header I picked up 44hp. 46hp with the tune. Guess all the mods and the way I routed my exhaust work well together.

Its not too hard to believe. I mean look at the Nissan titans. They put out a supposed 317 at the crank and then put out 290 to the wheel. That's only 9% drive train loss. That's a little harder to believe.

Really wish we had more of an aftermarket like cams and heads. And most importantly a real tuning option, not this piggy back crap.

What do intake, exhaust, header, tuned 6.0s put out?

^^ i believe,i could be wrong about 325 rwhp ! lq9 , lt's intake and a tune ! I guess it kinda makes sense
5.7 tundra rated at 381 at the crank , add some lt's , intake and tune = 360rwhp
6.0 lq9 SSS, rated at 345 at the crank ,add some lt's , intake and tune =about 325 rwhp , same diffrence !

so all your tuner could do was fix your AFR? do the toyota guys not have the ability to crank up the timing yet? if not that's where your power is sitting.

All we have for tuning right now is piggy back systems. One of them has the capability to change timing but our ECU is really picky. As soon as it senses something out side of the factory timing tables it will over ride the "tune" and retard or advance spark as needed. The best we can do at this time change up the AFR and let the computer dial in what it feels is the proper timing.

Kinda of crappy way of tuning and in my case not always effective. There was a supercharged tundra on 37" tire with this same unit that put down 500hp to the wheels with a custom tune from the same place I took my truck. It all depends on your mods I guess.

If we had real tuning abilitys and some cam options we'd be right there with you chevy guys.

Good numbers. I had a chance to get some DT LT's for my '08 dcsb 2wd for $500. I was putting money in my '03, so I passed on them. Really wishing I hadn't, especially now.

I know it is a $hitload of money. But I've always wondered what my truck, or a rcsb, would do with a megasquirt, or some other stand alone, and a turbo.
