good to see it made it to dyno
unlike mine but to be honest im highly dissapointed. i would of thought for sure you would of been 450 or so
i still not a believer at all of those heads and yoru case is one for sure. seen 6.0s make more then that with a cam

But with 50* ambient and 5 more degrees of timing I could see picking up to the mid 400's. You really have to take the IAT's, timing, heavy *** wheels, 5.13's, and 116 LSA into consideration. The #'s won't peak like a tighter LSA would. I chose my cam for a smooth driving truck and not a dyno or track queen. A GTO with 3.42's, lighter wheels in the winter would definatly dyno higher with my engine in it. I say that because mine was done in about the worst of air quality conditions. I'll re-dyno this winter and see how things change.

I'm really thinking that a ported set of 317's and LS6 intake would yeild similar if not more peak and definately more on the low end. There are too many LS2's with just a cam and headers putting down better #'s and I have more compression than them.

Hey Gibbs, how much timing are you running, I just finished tuning a guys 402/l92 setup with the L76 intake, and a 242/247 cam on about 11.0:1 comp. I noticed that those heads do seem to like more timing. His ended up at about 31-32*. Maybe with the intake temps down some, you'll get that power back.
On the carb intake, did you have a 90 and an elbow, or a 4bbl tb? I think that the carb intakes are going to require a bit different cam setup to compliment them from what I've been reading over on Tech, we'll see......Patrick G is specing a cam for the Wood Haulers, NA 408 with the Victor/4bbl setup. I really can't wait to see what he comes up with for it.
Congrats on the numbers!

I had the Hi oct set at 31-32 but something in the tune was holding it back to 25-26*. I havent' taken the time to look into what is holding it back. I figure it would do better with more timing. Thanks for the info.
