Headed to the dyno on Sunday
#1
Finaly getting the truck tuned this Sunday. Ive had this motor for about 4 yrs now and its just now gonna see some real drive time. It probably only has about 6 or 700 miles on it. Ive been curious all along to see what it will finaly put down to the ground. The only thing that will limit my power is going to be the fuel pump. I have a single aero 340 pump. What do you guys think it will make? Ill be happy with anything over 600hp.
Specs.
408 8.5:1 cr
S480 t4 turbo
4" dp
Meth
4l80e
10-12 psi
I'll post dyno vids and results Sunday night!.

made 602hp 631ftlbs. I ran out of fuel pump and called it good for now. We also didnt get into the meth at all. My waste gate is refrenced before the intercooler so the psi was not holding steady at all. It peaked at 11psi and would drop to 9 by the end of the pull. I bet it would have made 650 easy if the boost would have held at 11psi.
I'm moving the refrence line to the manifold and adding another fuel pump just to be on the safe side. I couldnt be happier though. We took it out for a little test run after the dyno and it was a blast. Spun the tires at 50 and got it a little side ways. Haha. Cant wait to get it on the road!
Heres the only good video I got. Setting the shift points on the dyno.
