Low compression, small cam, stall converter, big tires and wheels in a second gear pull is what I'm taking into consideration. On a dyno jet that reads higher you might get it.

It would help you out tremendously getting a bigger cam and higher compression, l92 heads would be a great option too! Have them milled .030 will put you at the same cc as the 243 heads. Then you will be close to the 385-400 hp range.

I want to get some 243 and have milled and p&p with a cam mid to upper 220s. That's ultimately my Goal

I think the 243 or 799 heads would be a better choice for your truck, the large intake port CC of the square port heads are not as good for down low torque which trucks with big tires really needs.

I had no problem pulling a boat in overdrive up and down hills and never pulled the motor down. To each their own tho.

Stock bolt on lq4 makes right around 300rwhp, id say 350 with that cam but down 20 with that wheel/tire combo so 330 sounds about right to me. Time wise will all depend on your weight, truck hight, and wheel/tire combo. We have gone 13.1 @ 101 in a 4400lb truck in 5000da with an all stock lq4 in it. Getting everything to work with your engine and proper tuning gos a long way.
