Default GM 5.3 With tr220 cam dyno

Hey everyone, new to this forum but not new to working on motors. Just did a TR220/112 in my 2004 5.3 silverado 4x4. I also did 3000k stall, shift kit, headers, no cats, flowmaster dual exhaust, k&n cai, and custom dyno tune. I got 275 hp and 273 tq.Just trying to see if this sounds about right for my mods. I also have 285/75/16 bfg all terrain ta tires ( I know they eat a little power at the wheels). The reason I ask is because I see other people getting around 330 rwhp but may be on 2x4. I also had issues with the cam and pushrods on first install. I needed to get a different timing set and degree the cam to specs and get longer pushrods to get in spec on valve lash. Before this, I was at 220hp and 253 tq and had a lot of valve tick. Now I just have a little bit of valve noise but runs much better. I still think it is a little light on power but just wanted to see what other people are getting or think.

Thanks
Scott

Thats a kinda unfair statement though, there are other changes to my 5.3 besides the LS1 cam.

You have to compare to what has been on that dyno. My friend used to own a dyno we called the heart breaker. C5z06 with 150 shot made 375 rwhp, lol. Exhausr might be hurting you to. I picked up a good little bit with a dual cutouts.

If you still have the stock Y portion on the stock Y pipe cut that sucker off a d run duals from there back.

Guys claim that going from stock manifolds and y pipe to long tubes and off road y makes night and day difference. I challenge anyone who don't have long tubes in their budget to cut off the factory y merge and you will see where the night or day difference comes from.

Don't focus so much on final numbers. Look more at what it gained from the swap. 55rw!!!

My H/C 5.3 *only* did 300rwhp. So what!?!? It did 220rwhp stock (similar to yours). Picked up 70rw from heads/cam.

I don't have a baseline number sadly, but I was at 304/301 at the wheels with my head/cam swap and small compression bump on heavy 20" wheels. This was on a Mustang Dyno.
