BlackGMC is at 303hp/300tq with his 4.8 with a 222/224 cam.

44 more hp is gonna be hard to reach N/A, the only thing you have left to do is heads.

heads... pulleys... intake manifold... throttle body... better intake... better exhaust setup... theres plenty i can do... but still 44 hp shouldnt be hard to accomplish..

a good set of heads will jump you that much by themselves. http://www.texas-speed.com/shop/item...id=84&catid=40

the heads, same cam, and e-cut out will beat your goal, IMO. i would say 355-360 with good heads and exhaust opened up.

if mine hadnt blown i would have known for sure.. it made 300+/300+ n/a and 400+ on a dry shot.

LS6 intake wont gain you anything, TB will be minimal, UD pulleys might get you 5-10, CAI wont give you anything really. Id say with heads itll be close

honestly, i would rather have higher torque down low with a 4.8, and a good size stall (3200+) to get it moving.. that cam choice put you a bit low on the tq... but a good stall will compensate, and some 3.73+ gearing.

heads will jump your tq number equally though, and you will have a high 12 n/a capable machine.

i think a 4.8 with 4.11 gears, 3600 stall, and 350 n/a rwhp can do a 12 sec 1/4 ... traction pending. that WAS my goal, but mine popped early in the testing procedure
