Guys,

Im getting lots of PMs. Ask questions in the thread so everyone can understand and learn!!! (Thanks slowrado293)

This swap was almost a direct bolt on. The only modification that had to be done was to the OEM fuel rails. The original small mounting tabs had to be removed and use FAST's fuel rail modification kit it took about 5 minutes to modify the OEM fuel rail.

This intake is made to work with trucks from 1999-2010 so everyones truck may require different parts. FAST has made a cool webpage so you get the correct parts for your truck. Please goto www.fuelairspark.com/selector to see the parts you will need.

We used two part numbers for this swap;

146602 FAST Intake
146031-KIT Fuel rail modification kit (which was $25-27 IIRC)

That's not bad hp is cool but did it gain any torque? I would like to see how much it would have gained if it kept pulling like to 6500-6700

To me its all a part of a system. If your into the power game you spend lots of time deciding on your cam, what headers would work best, which CAI is best, which oil to use, etc.....

Your going to need an intake sometime. No one wants to leave 20-30hp sitting on the table, especially when its a simple install. Most of the LS1 guys buy the LS6 intake only to sell it again later and buy the FAST intake. Ive had an LS6, LS2, 90mm FAST, 92mm FAST, and now have a 102mm FAST. The cool thing is, it retains its value. So when I wanted to uprgrade and sold them, I got almost all my money back!
