Just a point I'd like to point out....
If he really is stock cubes, he's making 100hp/liter. Not impossible by any means but definitely a challenge. Hell the ZR1 is rumored to be in the neighborhood of that. Just pointing that out.

This is why they don't like you Jorge. If they say it is stock displacement lq9 motor then THAT IS WHAT IT IS. Are you also going to question Flaco's 10sec pass with his lq9 on juice?

There are some differences to this engine that we don't see people doing over here much. It's high compression(12.5:1 right), got some really nice heads on it, and a Fast 90/90. I've seen those numbers lot of time from Fbodys, just don't see them much from trucks. I think that is why everyone is having a tough time with it.

why would one call it a lq9 if it does not have lq9 pistons?

I call it what I am told it is. I have never personally seen the pistons in this engine nor pics of it. It would be safe to assume you have.

There's a thread asking about a n/a lq4 making 400hp and everyone said yea no problem probablly 420, 440... so why can't you guys beleive a lq9 made 512hp when it already comes with almost 50hp more stock.

Not doubting just curious as to how he did it. Is it physically possible to do it?? ABSOLUTELY! Just very interested to know how exactly he did it going through a automatic tranny. I've seen F-body guys do it too but they are usually running through a T56 which doesn't eat up as much HP.
But again not doubting, admiring and interested in exactly how it was done.
