Default dyno results for my cammed 6.0 Z71

was told today that with my mods and a already warm engine that it turned 315rwh... does that sound about right? i know everyone plans to have more then they ever do on there first time dynoing but i got a buddy that claims more with less mods and a 5.3 so now im wondering...

6.0 swap 03 Z71 25k on dealer installed new motor... 48k on truck...
224/230, Lift .581/.588 114 comp cam
comp rods
pac springs
LS1 fans
K&N
SS long tubes
Gibson duals
ported and polished TB
SLP under drive
stock 3.73's
on worn 33's

ill keep reading through the other threads but most seem to be heavily modded vs. mine... he says it should do better tomorrow when the motors cooler and hes gonna tinker with it some more... so we will see... but this was the first run... does anyone think if the dealer used the same 4.8 injectors that they would be starving the motor?

and yeah hes tuning it now... it was tuned when the 6.0 was swapped in and the dealer sent the computer off to someone at the time... now this guy near me is doing it... brooksspeed.com

PS you live in the same town as my sister... Sarah Grutt...

lmfao no way its a 273/279 cam

For the OP... get some more accurate information.
A cam 6.0 should put down at least 340ish even with a baby cam, LT's.
I bet your tune is wayyyyyyyyy off as well

Based on that link its a 224/230. You have to look at the duration at 050 inch lift.

a 224/230 with .588 lift plus your LT's, CAI, etc should be around 350ish i'd say. Get some tuning and dyno again and get back with us. Something just aint right
