Default Do these numbers sound right?

Me and 88bluechevy got our trucks dynoed today he put down 300/300 he has 350 bored 60 over, comp XE276HR cam, patriot 185cc vortec heads, weind stealth intake, edelbrock AVS 650 carb, magnum 1.5 roller tip rockers, 4 valve relief flat top pistons so CR should be right around 10.1-10.3, he also has MSD 6AL, shorty headers, underdrive pullies and ory pipe with magnaflow exhaust,

I have a 00 RCSB 5.3 4L60E my mods are as follows Wheatley Tune, comp xr265 hi lift, K&N cai, ported throttle body, 3000 stall, 4.10 gears, 918 springs, comp push rods, shorty headers with ORY pipe with magnaflow exhaust and 150 shot of spray, I put down 280/292 on motor and 374/396 on spray (150 shot).
I know this thread is long but we are wondering if this is where we should be at?

well about ur truck dont forget dyno results may show less because of the torque converter... theres a difference if its locked or unlocked.. dunno about the old 5.3.. my friends 09 5.3 is putting 295rwhp on a mustang dyno with CAI and LT's + tune.

thanks for the comment man, I know thats what im seeing about the 07 and up I know they have better heads and a lil more compression but damn I do have a cam. I just thought I would make more power than that. The other truck should have made way more power than that looking at other build that I have saw on the internet. I mean wheatly basically had the same setup as mine and he laid down 310 I think thast why I went this way I just wanted 300 rwhp on motor and now it look like I'm up $hit creek I guess. I checked my AFR's and they were pretty much spot on on motor and nitrous. So I dont know what to say It had just rained so humidity was high as hell and I had driven 2 hours straight to get to the dyno. As far as converter being locked or unlocked I dont which it was. Which is the way to go when dynoing locked or unlocked and is there anyway to make it lock or unlock while im there?

I made 283 with my 5.3 and the 212/218 low lift cam.. Not all dyno's read the same numbers.. all a dyno is just a tuning tool. The only time to really compare dyno numbers is back to back. Ive seen over a 10 hp difference on a dyno just in different days with the same vehicle. Also if you drove 2 hours to get there and your truck was heat soaked, thats a huge killer right there.

I know that no two dynos will be the same I was just expecting 20-30 more from my setup. You guys have saw my setup yall have any input on what I could do to get the las 20 im looking for. How much difference would the heat soak make, if I have to drive again how log should I wait to let it cool down before I dyno it? I did find out that my tune has 4 degrees of timing taken out for nitrous so i guess that should be some of it. And on my nitrous run i was taking out 6 more degrees with the MSD timing twister so that should be some of the nitrous power. I really appreciate all the feedback im getting from you guys.

So your only running 22 degrees timing on motor? and on nitrous minus another 6 degrees?
