Default Boosted 370 numbers

I am planing on doing a forged 370 boosted heads cam and intake. Just wondering what kind of numbers guys are putting down on pump gas with a 370. I'm planning on running 12 pounds. I had a 5.3 with 460 rwhp on 8 pounds so I'm hoping to beat that by at least 100 hp

I would think on 12 psi 600-650 would be a fairly conservative estimate. There are lots of guys running a boosted 6.0 making around 1000 hp at the flywheel, but of course they are running more than 12 psi. Stock48 and Atomic come to mind.

6-800, depending on the heads, cam, intake and turbo...

I'm trying to get some numbers so I can justify spending the coin on one haha

Why just stop at 12? Why not just have a power goal instead of a boost goal.. Keep adding boost until you hit your power level you want to make.

I wouldn't build a 370 unless I planned on running big boost. 20+ psi

Well I want to dd the truck that's why I wanna keep the boost kinda miled I've already blown 2 boosted motors a 5.3 on 8 and a 6.0 on 12 thats why I'm leaning towards the 370 more strength and more hp I figured I can't go wrong

With 93 and meth I have ran as high as 17psi on my 370. At 12psi and my stock heads it makes around 600rwhp. Who is doing your tuning?

How much we're you making on 17 and how much boost would you run with no meth
6.0 hit rev limiter and bent a rod
5.3 took out rod bearings after about 900 miles
6.0 was a shitty tune I think
5.3 was driver error I think
