Default big wheels and dyno numbers??

How much do larger wheels effect your dyno numbers? will they show a lower number since there is more rotating mass??

IIRC (Nelson?) somebody did a before/after and made good gains going to a smaller wheel/tire diameter. For sure it makes a good difference on a roller dyno.

I went from 503 on a dynojet with the 22's to 545 on a dynapack with no wheels.

At 512rwhp with the 22's on a dynojet, I THINK I will hit 560 on a dynapack without the wheels.

From my own personal experience. I showed a gain of 10hp on the same dyno when I went from a 265-75-16 AT tire to a 255-65-16 tire.

wow, so these heavy *** 75 lb. each wheels and tires are robbing me they are 305 50 20's. I know with my other wheels and tires I use for the track its way faster on the street. Just can't hook if I nail it or it goes sideways down the street. Im probably for sure making 500 rwhp with normal size wheels and tires.

well if u think about it yes.. the bigger the tire and wheel the more mass it going to take to turn them..when i went from my stock 16 to 18 inch rims and 35 inch tires there was a big difference in performance..
