Is that ACE transmission out of Dallas? How is it holding up so far?

Yeah, hasn't had any issues.

I went to the track about a month ago. Went 11.5@121 on 12psi. I don't have enough experience at the track, nor was the truck really set up for it. No suspension straps, street tires, etc.. I'm not a big racer so I haven't made it out again. I just build these things to have fun and drive them

How legit do you think these dyno numbers are? 121 at roughly 4800lbs is around 630 rwhp and at 17 psi youre now over 900 rwhp?

very interested to see what youre truck would do on its said psi level at the track

Seeing as my hood is closed for a track pass and up for the dyno run, fairly legitimate. The air intakes draw in a lot of hot air behind the radiator with the hood closed, so the power is expected to drop. I have parts to build an intake to pull cool air from elsewhere, but I've been busy with another truck lately.

950 should net you 138-142 mph at that weight with all the stars aligned

I know its been done before, probably more times than I know of Just thought I'd post up and give a shout out to a couple people. Gilbert @ Ace Racing Transmissions for a stout 4L80e to take the abuse, Dave @ Yank for making the best converters on the market, and Jarrett/stock48 for his turbo cam. Quick specs on the setup:

2004 Silverado Z71
2006 150k mile LQ4, untouched short block
Stock 317 heads, surfaced
PRC 675 springs
LS9 gaskets
ARP studs
Isky 'triple 12' cam, 212/212 112LSA
Pro Yank 3400 multi disc converter
Eboost street 40 boost controller
ETS intercooler
Twin GT3582r turbos on a flipped manifold kit

Pulls were made on a Dynocom dyno at around 11am in Phoenix, AZ. Ambient temp was 97 degrees. Unlocked converter. Fuel is a mix of 60% E85 and 40% 91 octane. Drove it in on my street tune and left it on spring pressure with the boost controller off. Made some 6psi pulls and I believe it put down 550hp/540tq. Turned it up to 17psi and started seeing 900!

Twin turbo silverado - 935hp/863tq - YouTube

Highest numbers were 950/855. Also made another pull at 946hp, and a couple in the 910-920hp range. The dyno operator only gives the middle pull, so I've got the graph for the 935/863 pull. Numbers are SAE uncorrected. Overall I'm very happy with the power it made as I was not expecting that much at all! The best part was driving 3 hours to the dyno, making a bunch of pulls and driving back in the Arizona heat with AC on and not having a single problem. I had it on 20psi the night before but decided against trying to push the boost any higher in the heat. With a couple more pounds and some cooler weather this might be a 1000hp combo Thanks again to Gilbert, Dave, and Jarrett!
Who built that kit for you? Or did you do it yourself? I'm in Phoenix and want to do a set up similar to that!!!! Also, what are the specs on those GT3582r's?

Do you run air filters? How are they setup?
