For those of you who don't check out the vintage Chevy section..
Here is the skinny:
63 Chevy P/U
Limiting factors:
Stock TB
Stock LS6 intake
Stock LS6 heads
Stock Pulley
4L80E with Stock verter
3.73 gears in a 8.5" 10bolt with steel 15" wheels (275/50/15 BFG DR)
Things that help:
4" intake plumbing No Maf
Edelbrock 1 3/4 stepped to 1 7/8
3" X-pipe to dual cut outs after the X-pipe
RPM - TQ - HP
3500-31x-21x
4000-33x-26x
4500-34x-30x
5000-34x-34x
5500-33x-35x
6000-31x-36x
6400-29x-36x

Sweet truck. Was the converter locked during the pull? I bet the 108LS only helps things as far as power production goes. Sounds like you have a well put together exhaust, so I don't see things backing up b/c of the extra overlap. Infact, with dual 3'' cut-outs, you could probably have gotten away with a 223/218-108... heh. Let us know when you get that graph!

Sport side, Verter was locked. I agree about the smaller exhaust lobe, if it was staying NA
There will be a 2 stage hit (100 fogger, 200 direct port and might hit both on the top end). But that 4L80E seem to eat a lot of power.
