Today we baselined my 2008 AWD Sierra Denali. Kooks catted 1.75" long tube headers. We then took those off and installed a set of American Racing headers catted 1.875" and re-dynoed it. The results are surprising.

3500 to 4500 looks better

 

so if you have a 6.2L and you already have 1.75s then keep them but if you are looking for headers then go with the 1 7/8's? looks like you gained like 10 hp midrange, the peak #'s dont tell the whole story

 

i dont think this is an apples to apples comparison because the cell count on the highflow cats on the kooks are different than those that come with the ARH.

 

looks like burst knock got the better part of that run... power doesn't drop and increase just like that... I guess you gotta do a compare of headers with a cam or more installed..

 

so witch headers would be the best choice for a 6.2 denali? no cam or stall just boltons and 3.5 magnaflow

 

I'd recommend the 1 7/8" ARH. You won't be disappointed.
