The power in that thing must be incredible. The fastest car I've ever been in is a BMW 335 which is a mid 13 second car.

I'm guessing 375/380 the 5spd does help a bunch, by the way how is the clutch holding up. I cooked the stock one in my truck after a few weeks with the maggie

Clutch still engages in the same spot as it did with the 4.8L. Doesn't feel worn down at all. Also it is grabbing just fine, I haven't seen it slip anywhere yet. Maybe you cooked your stock clutch because your truck is so much bigger than mine???

you realize you now have a 4 page dyno thread and your truck wont be dyno'd for another 2 days..

I guess that means alot of people want to see what you make.

4 pages??? You should change your settings in the control panel. I'm not even done with page 1 yet. All these posts so far have been on the same page for me.

Yeah My truck is quite a bit heavier, ECLB 2500hd with 33's weighs right about 6000lbs The torque is what really does the damage to the clutch. When I did my clutch the disc still had more than half of its life left, but the pressure plate and flywheel were both burnt.

The first time I got on the truck after the maggie, I launched in 2nd, grabbed 3rd was at about 3k it pulled like crazy, then I noticed the truck seemed not quite pull as hard and at about 4500rpm the clutch completely let go and the motor hit the rev limiter before I could get off the gas.

Good Luck

Hey Joe,

Glad to hear its running well

I'm just as excited to hear what the #'s are.

I think I may be bringing the Blue Turbo Notch up to BIR Wed night. Doug P (MaroonZ28) is going up there as well as a few others from MNFbody.

Where you dynoing?? If they cant get you in right away, I can call a friend in St.Boni that has a Dynojet.
