My guess is 412TQ @4700rpms and 403HP @ 5800rpms.

You'll be surprised what those 6.0s can do.

Also keep in mind he's pushing all that power through a manual transmission, that does not suck power from rwhp as much as an automatic does. My numbers are optimistic, but I feel I will be close.

you might be right, those auto tranmissions are hungry bitches

I am very interested in these numbers. It will help me to decide to go back to cathedral ports or not.

the cam is a lil small but it does have ported 243 heads with high compression. Is 400rwhp that unrealistic?

I'm confident that it will not make more horsepower than torque unless hirdlej winds that thing out past 7000 rpms. Above 6500+ rpms I see the truck intake manifold and the exhaust setup choking the motor anyway, which is fine IMHO. His camshaft is set up nicely though to make the engine more efficient, unlike the stock LQ4 he started with as a 325hp/365lb-ft torque monster. What he has now is more or less an LS2 that can breathe AND burn better from idle to 6500 from his head work, spot-on tune and more aggressive cam.

it's 2am or so here, hirdlej and I just got back from hunting down Mustangs and F-bodies, and now I'm gonna stick with that 410rwhp, 430rwtq guesstimate. Those 3rd gear pulls from 2500 to red line were insane.

Yeah but we got beat sorta by that STI........ I kicked his *** the first run, 2nd run I should have known better. Little bastard turned something on that made him really go fast Now we're going to end up on the internet somewhere since they had a camera. I bet the first run never makes it - he musta had nitrous or adjustable boost controller. Bastard
