Default 6.0 tvs1900 dyno

Went to the dyno on saturday for a breast cancer benefit. I ran 3 pulls, with some not-so-exciting results. I managed 419 rwhp and 438 rwtq. However, this was at an import oriented shop, and I do not think the operator knew how to lock my converter with hpt, i asked him to and he said he thought he could. Also, the weather was rainy and humid, and he had the truck idling for about 5 minutes while they were strapping it down so I am guessing it got a little heat soaked. I ran a 12.87 at the track last weekend, thought it would take a little more than 419/438 to get it there. My mods are as follows:
Stock rebuilt 370 lq4
Obx headers with 2.5" true dual
317 heads with a 5-angle valve job
Isky 215 224 .57x 114 lsa cam/springs
tvs1900 with 3.2" pulley around 6psi
90mm tbody
tuned by myself with help of justin, running 20* timing and 11.5 afr
performabuilt trans with their billet 10.5" 2800 stall converter.
was dyno'd in 3rd, and not sure if converter was locked, the pull starts an 3300 and I can't see the typical jump in torque like an unlocked converter usually has, but the pull was started a bit above my stall anyway.
It was on a dynojet and corrected to sae

I have a 2.9" pulley and a meth kit awaiting install, along with some stock wheels and 245/70/17 tires that might help.

Any input or suggestions?? Does this seem to be about right or is it a little low?

with 6lbs of boost, that doesn't sound too bad! make sure you look the convertor next time on the dyno via the scanner and see how that helps!

Was that with that restricted exhaust? It takes 492HP to run 105mph @5500lbs. Thats realy decent power for no meth, and only 6psi. You should pick up near 100HP with 10psi and a good shot of meth. 6psi is almost nothing.

I still think his HP is about 50rwhp low. The track numbers are what's important though. Get some decent pulls at some better shops if your lil more concerned.

Im no expert but that does sound a little low. But those are just numbers. As long as your happy with it I wouldnt worry about it too much.

I wish I knew if he locked the converter, I set him up with my scanner, had it running and everything. I got back in the truck when he pulled it out, and it wasn't scanning anymore, so i doubt he locked it. I don't really hold dyno numbers to be very important to me. I know it's more about the track time and fun value, but I was expecting a little more. Oh well, gonna try the 2.9", meth and some lighter wheels and see what happens. And no, the exhaust was redone last thurs. to dual 2.5" instead of the stock cat-back with a magnaflow that was on it.

I'd guess the long idling would have played with the IAT and backed off the timing when you did you pulls.I'm sure the big wheels would have played a role also.

Seems pretty low IMHO. I would expect 475-500rwhp with that setup. Wheatley just put down 393/392 with his cammed 6.0 with LT's here: https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...d.php?t=461383

I figure the blower is worth more than 30rwhp, jfwy

Maybe MAP has a more "honest" dyno. You went to the same place I went to with my truck. I did 383/380 with my 6.0L. Sounds about right to me. Jordan seems to be a good guy and knows what he's doing. If anything, you have more honest numbers than the guys on here throwing bags of ice on their george formans, er I mean Magnusen superchargers and waiting for an hour to let their engines cool off. Sounds good to me. If your happy, leave it alone.

By the way, aren't you selling the supercharger now?
