5.3l Dyno Results
I finally dyno'd my 1950 Chevy truck with a 2001 5.3l Vortec. It has a 222/222 .566/.566 cam with a 112 lsa, LT's, ported TB, LS6 springs, 30 lb/hr injectors, ram (cold) air, 160 T-stat, TH350 trans, 2300 stall. The engine pulled and made power up to 6200 rpm and made 331 rwhp at 6000 and 314 rwtq at 4800 rpm. I was surprised by these numbers since this is just a mild 5.3 in a 3200lb truck. It should run good now.
