ill let you know in a month or so how i like a turbo and 4l80e...80e replaces the nv3500 this weekend. Most of the turbo parts should be here soon and the rest when the 80e swap is all done.

Thanks guys. Sounds good 05Silverado, what all you installing to make that 4l80e work? You going to run a stock unit or rebuilt with upgrades?

Its a built unit, Hughes "racing" rebuild kit with upgraded clutches and koleen steels, hd-2 kit, hd sprag, converter will be a loose GM high stall rated for about 2500 rpm built by roadrunner converter.

Once its in i am going to get it broke in, i dont drive my **** like i stole it until its got a few heat cycles and miles on the stuff. Then once i have it shifting good it turbo time i have alot of parts for that coming to...i was going to wait until fall...but why not just get it done and recoup the wallet later

No E85 fuel system for me though...so i wont be seeing 500+ HP especially through a 80e

Well, I've installed another walbro 255 and stronger wastegate spring. Next question, find another dyno jet or go back to the mustang dyno and try to pull around 550HP.
