It looks like your commanding a max of 30* at WOT, kinda interesting....

At least they added timing to the AFR spark correction table (instead of zeroing it out like most tunes i have seen), however I would adjust PE hot enable (tapper it down( downward slope)) to get better Part throttle response and take advantage fo the additional spark when a richer AFR is commanded... also I would zero out the 203* column on the spark ect table, cause you i will always be removing ~1* timing when the truck is warmed up... Just my .02, I am not expert either...

Anything else you notice. I will be the first to say i have no idea what im doing when it comes to tuning. But any help is great ill pass it along and see if he can fix it.

The truck feels like its always wanting to lurch forward. Is that what the idle speed would be controling?

Yessir, that's it exactly. It would be like giving the stock truck's idle a little gas with the pedal and expecting it not to creep forward. On level ground my Suburban slowly moves forward never going over 5mph on the stock 550rpm idle.

Let's see a 4-banger do that at idle...move a 5800lb 4x4 truck with 1.8L torque.

What's so interesting about 30* of total advance?

Lol I'll let hirdlej expand more on this, but damn you should see some of his aggressive spark tables. They make a wonderful difference.

I think I was misunderstood. I am not arguing or battling or starting any kind of pissing match at all my friend. Simply commenting, that is all.

All is well.

Is there any dyno data showing that anything over 26-28 deg does anything to make more power at wot? All I have seen and heard thus far says no, so I'm just wondering.

I have read several threads by alot of the tuners on this board that they gained nothing over 26-28* of timing on the dyno... I have not seen one post where someone gained going over 30* on the dyno....

its cool, I am just getting tired of people bashing other peoples opinions.... Especially in the tuning threads, I am about to the point of not posting in them anymore... I know some of the more experienced tuners on this board stopped posting due to the same reason...
