I don't know if this has been answered but I have a friend with a lightning with about 600flbs of torque and 550ish hp. Anyways he cant keep a trans for more than around 100 miles. Any suggestions for a good trans. local shop can't handle this build. THANKS

What year L? Level 10 handled my trans build. Top notch in my book. BTS also does great work.

 

Contact Vince at Finish Line Transmission. While they specialize in GM stuff Vince has a TON of overdrive Ford transmission experience.

I told him to call BTS the other day. I'll also mention FLT to him. Thanks for the help guys. Just trying to see what this truck will do and the transmissions are killing him.

 

BTS is the best for the 4r100 At his level of power.

That is what he ended up going with. Right now he is changing out the supercharger for a turbo
