Default Tranny & Diff power threshold?

My boss has a 2000, 250, 4X4, extended cab, 7.3, 5 speed w/ a granny gear. He wants to do intake/exhaust and chip, but we don't know how much power he can add w/out worrying about upgrading anything else. He uses it for pulling and it's his DD.
He's thinking of waiting until bullydog comes out with their triple dog combo for the 7.3, and he's getting a exhaust and intake within a week or so.
So are there any "weak links" he needs to worry about? Thanks in advance guys!

WTF guys ...this has been posted up for 2 days, with 14 views, but no replies? With 85,864 members, I was expecting a faster response. Maybe I'm too acquainted with LS1tech and getting a response within 30 minutes

It's all good Someone give me a response ASAP, por favor!
