Hey guys, I have an 08 RAM 1500 with the 5.7 and a 5 speed 545rfe. I bought the truck last year with 54k miles on it and the tranny fluid was red and smelled good so it was burrent. It is going to be at 70k here in the next few months and going to do another fluid server on it and swap in the WIX tranny filter.

I have the HD cooling package and while driving the past few days I have been looking at the temps of the tranny and they never seem to go over 130 (Using torque and the plugin for dodge trannys)

What are the best things I can get to make sure I keep my tranny strong to make it to 500k miles? I did order the sonnax line pressure booster and thinking about a trans tuner to help the shiftpoints and make the throttle more responsive. What is a good one and what should the shift schedule be set to?

I heard 2nd prime is best to eliminate to help the tranny.
Any thoughts??
