Default You sure its got a Hemi?

Been at the track the last two weekends and have seen this guy with a new Hemi Charger R/T, blk and yellow. I seen 3 runs: 1- 15.5 2-15.3 3-15.0 can't remember the speed but, are they really that slow??? Also there was a RCSB Hemi truck that ran a 15.75 with a 60ft time of 2.2 so I can't say that it fell on its face or spun like crazy. What do ya think?

just a fyi
the SRT8 is the 6.1L V8 Hemi engine.
the "regular" Hemi is the 5.7L V8 Hemi engine.
the SRT10 is the V10 viper engine.

the 15.7 is definitely possible for a 5.7 hemi ram especially in this heat with 3.55 gears and the 20" wheels. This combo does tend to fall on its face when it hits 3rd gear. Doesnt take too much to get it into the mid-14's with a couple bolt ons.

The way the magazines portrayed them, they were running high 14's off the show room floor. Its always interesting to see the difference in test drivers/vehicles and your everyday drivers.
Perfect example: 06 Z06, guy ran a 13.03, and we all know what there capabale of. Just because you pull up next to a Cobra mustang dosen't always mean the guy driving knows what hes doing.

Makes you wonder if he should've bought a reg. GT for $30.000 and used the rest for racing school.
