what street tires are the 4x4 guys using?

A 275/60r17 would be my choice. Slightly smaller than stock but not too small that they look goofy.

The Goodyear RSA is a soft tire that I think would hook well on the street and its very light in that size. The Nitto 420s is also a great option.

I was able to try out a buddies 22" Texas reps on Falkens.... what a difference... good and bad.. I can feel the truck lazy to get moving, the steering felt heavier and slightly harder to stop... on the positive it hooked way better with a bit of axle hop.. the difference in height seemed, by the naked eye, like 1/2" or less... Definitely, not going the 20" route..
