OK, here we go.
I ran 3x due to track incident. I wanted 1 to 2 more runs.

I ran @ 6:51, 7:42, & 8:59PM. DA I guess only shows 6:53, 7:53, & 8:53. Close enuff, unless there's a way to change to exact times? Track is +593'. DA calc says temps were 63*, 59*, & 55*.

L-R: R/T, 60', 330', 1/8 ET & MPH, & 1/4 ET & MPH

1).8828 2.2742, 6.42, 9.8 @73.05, & ...15.14@90.71

2)..1191 2.2579, 6.379, 9.747 @ 73.29, ...15.08@90.5

3)-.047 2.2682, 6.367, 9.717 @73.66, ...15.014@91.43

I was so on redlite on #3. Saw last amber, stabbed it, & saw red then green. So close. Again, it's been 2 or 3 yrs. so I gotta get in practice.

Baro on run 1 30.38, 2/3 30.37. Humid: 37, 41, & 45%. Relative Density: 98.35, 99.09, & 99.87.
DA works outs corrected to: 567, 312, & 44.
Times DA corrected:

15.074@91.076
15.065@90,542
15.051@91.13

I never posted my times before, & this DA thing is new to me. But it looks to combine altitude, station pressure, temp & humidity. Correct me if I'm wrong.

15.08@90.5
Tom, you know when I said a "hair under 15" I was just trying to be nice

If you peel the dead weight (cover) and run some smaller tires you will be surprised by the improvement in your times.

Ya, I know on the cover, but it serves me well. I wanted to take it just as I drive it daily. Really tho, my bro left house to study, & I needed him to lift / put in garage.

This was just a re-orientation, "blow the dust off" my skills sorta deal.

I had too much gas in it, cause it'd been 2-3 yrs/. since I last ran, so I forgot where the gas station I normally stopped at when I race. It's in Ypsi or Ann Arbor. When I find it, I can cut gas a lil close instead of running w/. 1/2 tank.
I was pressed for time cause I wanted it clean. I also didn't have time to throw my CAI in there. I believe it helps w/. the ram air effect above such & such speed.

I wanna go again, I said I'd wait til after FLT L7 is in, but I wanna break 15. I also forgot a laptop/ HPT to monitor for any problems. Next time.
I wanna take off tonneau, no spare, remove jack (~35-50#), & less gas. I think I can gert there w/. that. I need to lower fan temps back down too, now that it's warmer. At least for track.

Bill, how small of tires u talkin? These are 16"s, granted the rears are 275/70/16, but I like the beefy look. It's taller sidewall doesn't help my handling goal, nor make rotations easier cause now I just swap front & rears, instead of all 4. Know what I mean?

By goin to a 275/70 instead of a 255/70...if a tire is taller, it's like changing the rear gear ratio to go lower or higher numerically? Lower, right?

I'd prefer not to dink w/. tune to get < 15 sec. ETs. I've got a few ideas & would love to get those items, but wallet will be a little thin after finishing payin off FLT. And I'm anxious to have a tranny that I can pound on. I mean not worry about, not pound on.

stop procrastinating and get tuning already. sounds like you were really heavy, but i still expected a little better than that..

I run 3.73 final ratio and 30.5" tires. You need to swap gears or go to a smaller tire for the track.

Racing isn't about a modification but rather how all the parts work in unison.

Weight reduction and smaller tires will do wonders. For comparisson, I ran a 15.1 with my ext cab with the 4.8 on 20s with no weight reduction in summer heat. Maybe look at your tune some more also, you might can get a little more aggressive with it.

I really wanna leave those 3.42s in. I'm partial to em, but if I don't ever reach my goal, & 3.73s would do it, they might go in. Just for grins, think I could get .1-.2 just from a 3.42 to 3.73 swap?
You've told me the unison thing before, & it's true. Could we say they need to work in, Synergy?

That said, how small do u think I should go on a track tire? I think I'm at 30.5" right now.

LS1FREEK, your guess on the 60' was very close, couldn't get much closer.

outlawz2004, ya IDK how aggressive the guy tuned my truck when it was done.

Tune and weight reduction.
My 05 ran 15.4(14.8 da corrected) with just an airaid filter and magnaflow catback.
This was with 3.73 and a 30" tire and !spare !tailgate !Jack I did not remove anything
from the interior and had two tens and an amp still in it

after my blackbear tune I ran 14.7 (14.2 da corrected) with the same
mods.

You should have some more in it, I'm sure you can drop close to 200lbs without too much work. Spare and Jack is a good 80lbs, and your tonneau is probably close to that too
