i know what unsprung weight is, but what do you gain in terms of time for the 1/4 mile with each pound of unsprung rotating mass removed?

If I remember correctly, every lb of rotating mass is equal to 4 lbs of chassis mass...

well following that formula, isn't it usually every 100 lbs = 1/10th in the 1/4?.... so 25 lbs unsprung is 1/10th?

But i have no clue.. Nick sounds like he has it goin? haha,, its to confusing for me....

Seems like it would be hard to shed some unsprung weight.. lightweight rims and tires... and some lightweight suspension stuff...
