We went to the local short track tonight. 500' Yea I know a 1/8th mile is 660'. we got jipped.


My first pass was a 6.85 @ 79 with a 1.9 60' on the 50 shot. I had some wheel hop and it was fun. So home Made Caltracs ASAP !!


Next pass I went off the bottle.
Boost launch it went a 7.2@76? with a 2.0 60'.

I was on my 275/40/17 MT DRs.



My buddys 99 TA with LTs and ORY with a Yank 3600, and we played with the tune and ran a 6.9@76 1.9 60'
that's on BFG street tires and 2.73s.


My buddys poor H22/5sp Prelude ran 8.3s all night long. with some wicked 2.4 60's!!

The TA is gettin 3.73s I think? and a Lid with a small dry shot for our GTG in November.

My injectors suppse to be here Monday. So we goin to see what she will do one a lil more than 5psi.

and there's no hope for the Prelude. Its gettin a small wet shot while we are at it I'm sure.

BTW there was a older Foxbody with a nasty sounding engine and a big shot. I saw him purge, so i hurried up and turned my bottle on and purged back at him..

He ripped out the hole with a 1.4 60' to my 1.9 60' but after 60' he didnt pull on me.
After that i had a ton of people coming up to me asking bout the "sleeper truck" haha

Stock motor, stock trans, stock TC, stock gears against the Foxbody.. it was hilarous.

I will either run with the gate off or down like that, I figure the added weight over the rear axle > better coefficient friction on such a short pass. What the uck is a 500' run and how do you think you'd do in the 1/8th and 1/4 mile?

haha jk, thats the only amount of land the guy had, so he did what he could with what he had.. its ok. if you can hook at that track. you can hook anywhere.
