Default Went to the track Sunday......

Weather said it was only going to be only 70 degrees but was 82 (got a nice lil sun burn) and there was a 10 - 15 mph head wind. It was Test and Tune so the track wasn't prepped good as if it would have been a race day. I was able to make 6 passes, all in the 14.9x @90.x mph. Here is the times from the best run:

60' - 2.14
330' - 6.19
1/8 - 9.56 @ 73.46mph
1000' - 12.44
1/4 - 14.92 @ 90.69mph

This was leaving off of idle and just easily putting the gas pedal to the floor. My tires are at the tread wear bars so I'm thinking with a new tire and prepped track I should be able to go a lil faster.

I really thought it was going to run about a .1 faster, with wishful thinking of .2 faster. I think new tires would help the 60ft. I'm saving up to get Headers, Y-Pipe and Cam Shaft. My goal is to try to get in the 14.30 - 14.50 range on motor.

A friend of mine has a Chassis Dyno and HP Tuners. Once I get the headers and cam, I'm going to get him to do the install and tune it.

What track did you run at?

Where is the chassis dyno with HPT?
