Should have opted for the 4:10s,especialy because of the altitude.I know my ride feels super strong at sea level when imake it there.I pick up about another 40 Hp Im not use to.You give up approx 3% HP for every 1k ft elev.

Just curious, but don't the 1500's have 4HI options? I know the 2500s have it and guys run the 1/4 in 4HI.

Yes we do. I ran in 4LO for the gearing. I am a little above 4,000ft and I have 3.42's so I needed all the help I could get. I definately dont have a problem with hooking up in 2wd. I tried it and saw the results. Like I said wont be doing it again, unless I have good reason too. Nothing broke and I wasnt turning on dry pavment in 4LO. And if the T case cant take 32 seconds of abuse then I want it replaced with a stronger unit.
