Got the truck somewhat ready for the track so I gave it a few runs. First time out on the setup still getting used to it being a manual 80e. I didn't have a shift light and I noticed I was shifting way early on the 1-2 shift (5800~ when it should have been 6800rpm) also I didn't do a good burnout so I had some spinning issues as well
But I was very happy for what it did and being on 13psi. I will make a few adjustments and hopefully next time out snag up a 10 second pass

Looks good. What's the race weight?

 

Haven't weighed it yet but I would guess somewhere around 4300-4400#. It's full weight full interior the only weight reduction it has is front sway bar removed and ac is currently not on. But the plan is to reinstall it when summer rolls around

No i had 2014 Texas edition 20s up front and 15x8 cragar soft8 rear wheels with 28x10.5 Hoosier slicks. I want to bolt on a set of Bogarts next time out for some weight reduction

 

Do you have a build thread? I thought you did a mini tub out back with some meats...? Maybe I'm getting your truck mixed up with someone else.

 

This is a different truck I'll post up some pics of it. I never did a build thread on it since I sold the truck back in 2012 and bought it back as a roller last year November. Since then I pulled all the drivetrain out of my white truck and dropped it all in this one.
