A looser converter would be more fun.

The problem I foresee is hitting it hard and tire grip.

Mine is 2600 ish. I would like 3000 or so. If this turbo hits too hard with a 3000 then I’ll run bigger turbo..... I am gonna do some back pressure testing on this one to see where I am at.

Maybe you could have yours restalled? Just don't do a 9 1/2" it will be too lazy for normal driving.

ya I am considering different options. May restall mine or I am a Protorque dealer so may switch. Idk. I will stay with a larger multi disk.

Man I wish I had a turbo for ultimate power with my little 5.3 but my trans would probably die anyway so I think I'm likely just gonna stick with the Whipple for this one. No question I'm going turbo/4l80 though on something else after seeing yours and where you've already been. Very inspiring sir! Raising the bar and you're just getting started. Gotta feel good.

I have a 252mm CircleD triple disc. It's loose. My shift drop between gears is about 200-400rpm and about 1k @ full throttle.

I love it with the 80e.

I’ll only go as loose as I need to. Don’t like my converters very loose. I like my precision, but it was specd as tight as they could make it for my blower setup. Most likely will see about having them loosen it up if I do anything.
