Pulling the fuses and going in 2wd won't affect the shift points on the stock tires, if you go to a different size it might a little. I know I have made a few different passes on my track rubber which is just slightly shorter than the stock tires and it did just fine. My MPH was off the first night though, second night I had AKlowriderZ71 adjust my tune for the different tires and noticed a little difference.

Till I get slicks I have to stick with 4x4 launches. 2wd results in me spinning into third gear no matter how nice I am to throttle.

I just caught this, a 15" rim won't fit on our trucks. 17" is the smallest you can go with our breaks.

I have rear drums, so I think I could do 15s on the rears. If I can do only rears that may be how I go. Otherwise I'll find another set of stock 17s to put tires on.
